**UPDATE on
Washington DC 2017 Trip**
The dates for the trip have been changed to the last
week of July 2017 At the meeting in February it was discussed of
a possible date change, and hopefully this will free up any conflicts students
have with June.
In addition to the trip date changes, the tour company is
running a “March Madness” promotion. Anyone who enrolls before April 4th
will get $50 off the total cost of the trip. You can
sign up any time after that date, but will
not receive the $50 off.

season. Applications are available in

Pool is now accepting applications
for life guards for the 2016

The Rockwell Aquatic
Center is now accepting applications
for life guards and concession workers for the 2016 season.
Applications can be picked up at the Rockwell City Hall or obtained online
at Rockwell-ia.org.
Applications need to be returned to the Rockwell City Hall by April
15th.
Sophomores and
Juniors – Please let Mrs. Knudson know if you are interested in attending
the 2016 Youth Entrepreneurial Academy at NIACC this summer. You will gain
valuable business experience and an automatic $500 scholarship if you enroll in
a program at NIACC following graduation! The Academy is FREE and Mrs. Knudson has applications.
Any TAG student interested in volunteering
on Monday afternoons with k-1st grade, please email Mrs. Wolff. You can
help any amount of time, need help

is looking for CNA's for short
shifts and are very willing to work
around school schedules and
extracurricular activities. Starting pay is $11.50 an hour. If you are

The National Cattle
Congress would like to invite all
eligible students to participate in the upcoming National Cattle Congress Queen Workshop on April 10, 2016 and the NCC
Queen Contest on June 26th, 2016. They hope to get
as many students involved as possible! This is a great opportunity for young
women to learn about resume writing,
professional attire, etiquette and so much more! As well as an opportunity to run for the NCC Fair Queen. Please see Mrs. Knudson for more information if you are interested.
Pictures are needed for the yearbook. Anyone
(parents or students) who likes to take pictures of student activities can
submit pictures for possible use in the yearbook. The more variety
of pictures the better! Just send them as an attachment to stacey.ubben@westforkschool.org.
